Terms & Conditions of Trade

Welcome to Jagrut Gold. By placing an order with us, either through this website, WhatsApp, or in person, you (the buyer) agree to the following B2B wholesale trade terms:

Nature of Business

Jagrut Gold operates strictly as a B2B wholesale manufacturer. Our products, prices, and services are intended exclusively for retail and wholesale jewellery business owners. We do not cater to direct B2C consumers.

Purity, Hallmarking & Maker's Mark

  • We guarantee the purity of our gold ornaments. All eligible products are BIS hallmarked as per government regulations.
  • Manufacturer's Logo: Please note that the manufacturer's mark stamped alongside the hallmark may appear as either "JG" (Jagrut Gold) or "RJ" (Raj Jewellers). Both logos represent our authentic, in-house manufacturing, and either stamp guarantees the product originates from our firms.
  • We are not liable for purity differences if the customer or a third-party karigar melts, alters, or tempers the item after delivery

Order Placement & Payment Terms

  • Advances: To initiate any manufacturing or custom order, we require a standard 60% advance. This can be provided via RTGS/bank transfer or as a fine metal (pure gold) advance.
  • Final Settlement: The remaining balance must be cleared prior to the final dispatch of the goods. Final billing is calculated based on the live market melting rate on the day of dispatch, plus agreed-upon making charges and wastage.
  • Cancellations: Once an advance is received and production has been started, upon cancellation a refund will be provided, but making charges will be deducted, and thereafter the refund will be processed.

Custom Orders & Craftsmanship

  • All custom "made-to-order" jewellery is manufactured strictly based on the buyers's specifications. Once a custom order is confirmed, no further changes to the design, size, or weight will be accepted.
  • Delivery time for custom orders typically ranges from 8 to 15 working days, depending on the complexity of the handwork.
  • Product photographs shared or displayed on our website are bare for reference purposes. As our traditional and antique jewellery involves complex handwork by skilled karigars, slight variations in final finish or exact weight may occur.

Shipping, Dispatch & Delivery

  • Secure Packaging & Dispatch Procedure: We take utmost responsibility for the physical safety of your order before it leaves our hands. Every item is carefully packed in secure, tamper-evident packaging to ensure it is fully protected. Our internal team personally visits the logistics/angadia office to hand over and book the parcel directly under the buyer's registered firm name. Once the parcel is securely booked, a photo of the sealed package and a copy of the courier receipt (LR) will be shared with the buyer immediately.
  • Logistics Partners: We supply Pan-India using trusted regional logistics and secure parcel services. To ensure smooth delivery, buyers are welcome to suggest their preferred local logistics/angadia partner for their specific city.
  • Charges & Liability: All shipping, frieght, and transit insurance charges are strictly to be borne by the buyer. Goods are dispatched entirely at the buyer's risk. Jagrut Gold is not liable for any transit delays, damage, or losses once the parcel has been officially handed over to the logistics partner.

Returns & Claims

  • Due to the customized nature of our manufacturing, returns are strictly prohibited.
  • If there is a transit damage claim or discrepancy, you must report it to us within 24 hours of receiving the parcel.
  • Video Proof: No claims of any kind will be entertained without a continuous, uncut unboxing video showing the sealed parcel being opened.

Legal Disclaimer & Jurisdiction

  • We reserve the right to update or modify these terms of trade at any time without prior notice.
  • Mumbai jurisdiction only applies to all sales, custom orders, and business transactions. The courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra, shall exclusively settle any arising disputes.
